Hip-Hop star Nas is currently celebrating the birth of his son, although sources close to the rapper told AllHipHop.com that he was not allowed to witness the event.

Nas' lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan stated that Nas rushed to the hospital to witness Kelis deliver his first son today (July 21).

A source close to Nas told AllHipHop.com that the Queen's rapper missed the actual child birth.

Nas is in New York City today, anxiously awaiting the arrival of his son. It was his intention to be there for the birth, but unfortunately he has not been allowed to be present, a source close to the rapper told AllHipHop.com. While this is clearly heartbreaking to him, Nas continues to offer his support and love to his new baby boy and his mother.

Nas and Kelis were due in court today in regards to their pending divorce, specifically child and spousal support.

The date had to be postponed when Kelis, born Kelis Rogers , went into labor, around 10:30 this morning.

Nas and Kelis were married in January of 2005 after being engaged for two years.

Kelis filed for divorce in April of 2009, citing irreconcilable differences.

No further details were available as to why Nas may have been prevented from witnessing the birth of his son.

A policeman is behind bars after he allegedly sold a colleague's service weapon to gunmen.

The cop, a special constable attached to the New Kingston Police Post is in custody awaiting charges for these heinous allegations.

According to police reports, the incident took place on Sunday, July 12 at the New Kingston Police Post during a scheduled handover and takeover procedure. It is alleged that the firearm, a Glock 9mm pistol was unintentionally left out of check-off procedures and put in a locker for safety by a supervising officer before stepping out to amend the error. The accused is said to have removed the firearm without the consent of the supervisor and left the premises. Shortly afterwards, the weapon was discovered missing.

An officer involved with investigations into the matter would not say where the gun was sold to, but confirmed the matter in evident disgust.

SOLD FOR $150,000

"Intense investigations revealed that the accused sold the weapon to known gunmen ... this man is selling off our own weapons to men who intend to kill us, this was not a police, this was a badman in police uniform!" charged an evidently upset officer who requested anonymity.

The STAR investigative team uncovered that the gun was sold to men from the August Town area for a $150,000. Police are now seeking the public's assistance in retrieving the weapon.

"Persons in the community that can assist the police with information are being asked to do so by calling 119, Kingfish or the Half- Way Tree police," said the officer.

The name of the accused is being withheld as he is yet to be charged.

A woman from Poland has taken an Egyptian hotel to court, insisting that her daughter fell pregnant through the use of their swimming pool, reports ananova.com.
The 13-year-old girl returned from a holiday in Egypt with a bun in the oven and the mother is sure the pool is the cause.

Magdalena Kwiatkowska is seeking compensation, insisting that the girl became 'knocked up' because of sperm present in the pool.

"The mother is adamant that her daughter didn't meet any boys while she was there and is determined to go ahead with the case," said one travel industry source.

ABC News correspondent Chris Connelly sat down with Michael Jackson's father Joe Jackson -- Jackson's first one-on-one interview since his son's death. A small portion was used on "Nightline" last night, more of it today on "Good Morning America" and insiders tell us the interview may be used in an hour-long "Family Secrets" special Tuesday night.

But it didn't come free.

TVNewser has learned ABC News paid upwards of $200,000 for rights to video featuring Joe and Katherine Jackson - and with it, the interview with Joe Jackson. A source close to the situation tells us the video was shot more than a year ago, "for some kind of reality show project." ABC licensed that footage from the production company and then approached Joe Jackson about getting a current interview "to address everything that's happened in the last couple of weeks," says the source.

Connelly's interview lasted about 45 minutes. Only a few minutes has already aired, which means ABC News will stretch the access into next week, perhaps culminating with the Tuesday night special. This past Tuesday ABC's "Family Secrets" about Michael Jackson's children was the #2 show of the night.

And while critics will lambaste ABC News for what amounts to paying for an interview, an insider tells us the network made off easy, considering the comparable cost of some hour-long productions. "This was a good deal for ABC," says the source.

Usain Bolt is gearing up for next month's World Champion-ships by running tomorrow at the Areva Meeting outside Paris, and a world record in the 100-metre race at the Golden League event is not out of the question.

"I definitely think the world record can go any time," the Jamaican sprinter said yesterday. "Any time the weather is good, you never know."

Bolt set world records in winning both the 100m and 200m at last year's Beijing Olympics. He also helped Jamaica win the 4x100 relay in record time.

But his next goal is to unseat defending 100 and 200-metre champion Tyson Gay and win a world title in Berlin.

"I got silver last time," said Bolt, who finished second in the 200 and 4x100 relay in Osaka, Japan, two years ago.

"I'm working hard to get the gold this year. It's very important to me to win the World Championships this year.

"It will be a stepping stone for me being a legend, if I win, so if I follow with a great year by winning the World Championships, I definitely can show the people that Beijing wasn't a one-time thing."

Gay, who is not running in Saint-Denis, ran 9.77 seconds in the 100m last week at the Golden Gala in Rome, and 19.58 seconds in the 200 at the Reebok Grand Prix in New York in May.

 

Bolt's records

Bolt holds the records with runs of 9.69 and 19.30.

"I don't fear any athlete," Bolt said of Gay. "No matter what time I'm running, I'm always confident in myself because I know I train hard and I work hard for what I want."

Bolt ran 9.77 in the Czech Republic last month with a tail -ind despite a bit of a struggle getting out of the starting blocks.

"We watched the race, me and my coach (Glen Mills), we found the problem so we worked on it a little bit," Bolt said. "I think I should have a fairly good start at this meet."

He then ran 19.59 in the 200m in Switzerland last week despite rain and a headwind.

Besides Gay, Asafa Powell is also skipping the meet in Saint-Denis. That could help Bolt increase his chances of setting a world record.

"You run better when there's less competition in the race," Bolt said. "I think it's much easier when your mind is free. The less competition there is sometimes helps you to break world records. You never know, it depends on the timing, the track and the wind. It's all about a few elements."

The field will include Yohan Blake of Jamaica, Daniel Bailey of Antigua, Churandy Martina of the Netherlands Antilles, 2003 world champion Kim Collins of St Kitts and Nevis, and Olympic runner-up Richard Thompson of Trinidad and Tobago.

A man who the police described as a serial rapist, and who has at least a dozen previous convictions for sexual offences, is once again behind bars.

Police sources told THE STAR that the man has been in the custody of the St Catherine North police for about two weeks and is the subject of an investigation into at least five recent cases allegedly involving rape and indecent assault of women.

According to the police, he has been preying on women in Spanish Town and surrounding areas in recent times.

The identity of the man is being withheld pending further investigations, after which he may be charged, the police say.

Corporal Horace Young of the Area Five police said investigators are looking to speak further with victims before scheduling an identification parade.

As such, the police are urging women who may have fallen victims to such acts recently to come forward and assist in the investigations.

At a recent divisional conference, St Andrew North top cop, Superintendent Assan Thompson, admitted that sexual predators were of great concern but promised the police would be relentless in catching the offenders.

The two-foot teenager: Jyoti, the world's smallest girl set to make it big on British TV

Her tiny form is disarming. But Jyoti Amge's dreams are as big as those of her friends.
At 15 she stands just 1ft 11½in tall and weighs less than a stone, giving her one very big claim to fame - as the smallest girl in the world.
Doctors believe Jyoti is a pituitary dwarf but have never been able to pinpoint her condition.
Such dwarfism is caused when the body fails to produce enough growth hormone.

Specialists have told her she will remain the same size for the rest of her life.
'When I was three I realised that I was different to the rest of the kids,' she said.

She said: 'I am proud of being the smallest girl. I love all the attention I get. I'm not scared of being small, and I don't regret being small.

This page will show you the way to totally remove the virus, spyware or adware.

How you got the virus?

You got this virus from a friend on your contact list. (Don't pick up the phone now and yell at your friend yet!)

They don't even know that they are passing the virus, they are passing them because they got it from another friend from their msn messenger contact list.

You will see a message from your friend with something like "I put your picture on your blog, see if it looks ok." then you will receive a file request.

The file names are random, something like "PICxxx.zip". Once you opened it, you got the virus and you will pass on the virus automatically on msn messenger without notice.

Symptoms:

• Your computer will be slower than usual.
• There might be Ads popping up to your computer.
• Your mouse might disappear.
• You might not be able to open "My Computer".
• Your internet will get slower
• and you will keep sending the same virus with the random message and the files to your friends in your msn messenger contact list.

Remove the virus:

1. Close your msn messenger (Avoid it to send the same virus to your friends)
2. Click "Start" (Restart your computer if the cursor doesn't work)
3. Click "Run"
4. Type "msconfig"
5. Go to the "Startup" tab.
6. Look for a file with the name "xxxsvc.exe" and make it unchecked.
7. Your computer will have to restart. (Your computer should be faster now)
8. Use Netcom3 spyware remover to remove all the spywares in your computer.

Your computer is safe now, to prevent it happens again in the future, when a friend send you files through msn messenger, ask questions to make sure the USER sends you this file but not the virus sending you this.

Born Sheldon Lawrence in1981, he is the second of four children for his mother a teacher and his father an ex-soldier.

His close-knit family instilled in him his morals and values and from his friends he gained street knowledge. He attended Mona Heights Primary then moved on to Meadowbrook High School where his love for music began.

After watching a tape of Sting 1993 with the infamous clash between Beenie Man and his icon Bounty Killer his mind was set on becoming a deejay.

Talent recognised

When he returned to school after that Christmas break he began re-enacting the clash for schoolmates and friends who immediately recognised his talent. Soon after he began writing his own lyrics and formed the J.A.G 1 (Jah A Guide) crew with friends. Jag 1 or J.O.P. (Jag One Productions) were often referred to when performing at school concerts and fetes.

A few years after leaving high school, Aidonia met Mr. G (then known as Goofy) and shortly after recorded his first single Many a Dem in October 2003. Shortly after he began working with Rod Pinnock of Orizen Entertainment. In early 2004, he became a popular performer at a weekly event called Battle Thursdays where he got some recognition and also had an opportunity to work on his performance skills.

MENTOR

Aidonia credits Mr. Pinnock for introducing him to the business aspect of the music industry by giving him the Business of Music book to read. This taught him that for an artiste, music is not only about recording and performing, but that the business aspect is also very important.

In the latter part of 2004 Aidonia was approached by Cordell 'Skatta' Burrell who invited him to record at his studio. He later became associated with Gangbang Entertainment and throughout this period worked with Skatta and other producers. Several popular songs such as Prayer, Inna Di Ghetto, Eagle, and his chart making hit Lolly were recorded.

Aidonia fulfilled one of his goals of working with Bounty Killer when he recorded Sen Fi Dem. He has been making a number of appearances with Killer since that time. One of his current singles Ooku has been pulled from the airwaves pending investigation by the Broadcasting Commission

Aidonia has performed throughout the island at popular shows at UWI and UTech, Chancellor Hall's Spectrum, Eclipse Pool Party, Lady Saw's Birthday Bash, Champions In Action, Spring Break in Negril, Fully Loaded, ATI 2006 and Sting 2K5 to name a few. Though a newcomer, he was a confirmed act at Reggae Sunsplash and Sumfest that both took place this summer.

No Limitations

There are no limitations on where he plans to take his career. Aidonia plans to develop himself as an artiste and keep putting in hard work in order to reap the benefits. He would like to work with producers such as Dave Kelly, Steelie & Clevie and Sly & Robbie and other dancehall artistes such as Shabba Ranks, Sizzla, Baby Cham, Vybz Kartel and Buju Banton, In the next five years he hopes to produce an internationally acclaimed album.

"I want to take dancehall music to the level that Bob Marley took reggae," says Aidonia.

The Heineken Green Synergy eliminations continues today on FAME FM with two matchups that will be entertaining and exciting.

In the first encounter which starts at 7:00 pm, last year's quarter-0finalist DJ Jagga from Portland will be challenged by Ricky Eminence from Spanish Town. While in the second match-up at 8:00 pm, last year's semi-finalist DJ Diamond will do battle with Force Ripe from Negril.

15 of the Green Synergy finalist strike a pose with the Heineken family.

DJ Jagga has shown much improvement from last year when seen at the Port Antonio audition. He evidently has learnt from last year's experience and has a better understanding of what is required in the competition.

"I have been practising a lot, this time around I am more confident and am looking to do better," he said. Jagga is mentored by the veteran broadcaster and disc jockey Donovan Dacres who spoke highly of his charge. "I am expecting Jagga to do well. He has grown from last year and I wish him all the best.

Ricky Eminence, a selector on the Spanish Town-based sound system Bass Symphony is seen as the 'underdog' in this encounter. Eminence will be looking to make himself, his friends and family happy by upstaging the more experienced Jagga.

A past student of both Jamaica College and St Jago High, Eminence is beaming with confidence going into the play-offs.

DJ Diamond is looking to go all the way this year having done so well in last year's competition. Now working as a resident DJ at Ocho Rios Margaritaville, he is fancying his chances this time around. "I am better prepared this time, and I have learnt from last year's experience. So I am just going all out this year," he said.

First-time entrant DJ Force Ripe, a selector on the fast-rising sound Black Blunt from Negril, showed some promise when he auditioned in Montego Bay. Compared to Diamond he is more of a hardcore selector and it should be interesting to see how he handles himself in this match-up.

In the first eliminations last week Friday, Super O from Hanover came out on top in the encounter against Zaliant while DJ Shine turned back the challenge of ra** Lee in the second match-up.

DJ Shine was pleased about his victory over ra** Lee, "I am feeling good. My set was just perfect, I didn't make any mistake," he said.

He added, "I am feeling very confident and ready for the TV round to do all my tricks. As to what his fans can expect from him in the quarter-finals, "It's going to be unpredictable, it's going to be like a dice where you don't know what to expect."

Super O was also happy in making it to the quarter-finals, "I am feeling good. I started out a bit shaky because I wasn't used to the mixer but after I got familiar with it (mixer), it was just smooth sailing onwards."

Super O disclosed that reaching the quarter-finals means a lot to his career. "Right now I have more street credit as people have been walking up to me and congratulating me. It (Green Synergy) has also given me invaluable exposure. I can safely say that it is the best exposure that I have gotten in my whole career."

Not to be missed is the big Heineken Green Synergy Kick-Off Party happening on August 1, at the Sugar Man Beach in Hellshire. It will be an exciting affair with the All Stars (past Green Synergy winners) and Kurt Riley set to bring the vibes to the beach.

Dancehall.Mobi news update - dancehall artiste Mavado was reportedly involved in a vicious motor vehicle accident last night while en route to a show in Negril. The accident apparently left the vehicle that Mavado was traveling in with slight damage, and two other vehicles badly damaged. Julian Jones-Griffith, Mavados manager, indicated late last night via his Twitter page that he was driving the vehicle, with Mavado as a passenger. Their vehicle was the lead car in a convoy of vehicles carrying other Alliance crew members including Bounty Killer, Wayne Marshall, Chase Cross, Flexx, Tony Matterhorn and Boom Boom.

According to Jones-Griffiths posts via his Twitter page, it appeared as though the vehicle that caused the accident was stolen, as immediately following the incident, its occupants jumped into the bushes and fled the scene. Jones-Griffith said bus infront us write off, car that hit an us was totalled, our car jus the bak door mashup, thank u Jah for givin me that vision to swing.

Two British tabloids quote LaToya Jackson as saying she believes her brother Michael Jackson was murdered as part of a conspiracy to steal his fortune.

She reportedly says her brother's assets of more than 1 billion dollars made him a tempting target and that cash and jewelry worth roughly $2 million was taken from his home after his death.

Her comments were published Sunday. The News of the World quotes her as saying she knows who is to blame for her brother's death and is determined to see them brought to justice.

She also reportedly says her brother did not want to perform 50 shows in London but was pressured to do so.

LOS ANGELES, CA The internet has been abuzz since this Sundays Golden Globes ceremony, where Megan Fox jokingly remarked that she looked like a man.

When interviewed on the red carpet, she said I look like Alan Alda in drag.  Im a tranny.  Im a man.

At the time, reporters passed it off as a jovial attempt to cover for her nerves.

However, today she has cleared the air and officially reported: shes really a man.

Megan Fox was born Mitchell Reed Fox in Rockwood, Tennessee.  From an early age, Mitchell showed an interest in both performing and womens clothing.  When having a preacher lay hands on him did not cure him of these interests, his parents simply put him on the pageant circuit.

By the age of 13, Mitchell had already started a career as a female child performer called Megan Fox.  Making her debut on an Olsen Twins straight-to-video release, the twins have kept his secret all this time.

As a sweet 16 present, Foxs parents offered him sexual reassignment surgery, which, given their childs career, theyd hoped to write off as a business expense.  Unfortunately laws prohibit such surgery to be done to minors.

Since then Megan has been working non-stop, and been included on many Hottest Women lists in publications around the world.

Megan, as she goes by now exclusively, also noted this Sunday how much she wants Salma Hayeks figure.  She has even scheduled surgery later this month to get it.  After the two met in New York this week, Hayek offered to have a cast made of her bust so doctors can match them exactly on Megan Foxs chest.

The internet is already speculating whether this news will be worked into the plot of the upcoming Transformers sequel.

Southwest checks planes after hole forces landing

CHARLESTON, W.Va. Southwest Airlines Co. inspected about 200 planes overnight after a football-sized hole opened up in the passenger cabin of a jet in flight, forcing an emergency landing in West Virginia.

Travelers on the Boeing 737 aircraft could see through the 1-foot-by-1-foot hole that appeared during the flight Monday. The cabin lost pressure, but no one was injured on the Nashville-to-Baltimore flight with 126 passengers and five crew members on board.

Passenger Brian Cunningham told NBC's "Today" show Tuesday that he had dozed off in his seat in mid-cabin when he was awakened by "the loudest roar I'd ever heard."

He said the hole was above his seat. People stayed calm and put on the oxygen masks that dropped from the ceiling.

John Demjanjuk cleared to stand trial

MUNICH German prosecutors formally charged John Demjanjuk on Monday with 27,900 counts of being an accessory to murder at a Nazi death camp during the Second World War.

The charges against the 89-year-old retired auto worker, who was deported from the U.S. in May, were filed at a Munich state court, prosecutors in the city said in a brief statement. There was no immediate word on when a trial might start.

Doctors cleared the way for formal charges earlier this month, determining that Demjanjuk was fit to stand trial so long as court sessions do not exceed two 90-minute blocs per day.

Prosecutors accuse Demjanjuk of serving as a guard at the Sobibor camp in Nazi-occupied Poland.

Demjanjuk says he was a Red Army soldier who spent the war as a prisoner and never hurt anyone.

But Nazi-era documents obtained by U.S. justice authorities and shared with German prosecutors include a photo ID identifying Demjanjuk as a guard at the Sobibor death camp and information that he was trained at an SS facility for Nazi guards at Trawniki, which was also in occupied-Poland.

Charges of accessory to murder carry a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison in Germany.

Efraim Zuroff, the top Nazi-hunter at the Simon Wiesenthal Center, welcomed the filing of formal charges.

"This is obviously an important step forward," Zuroff said by telephone from Jerusalem. "We hope that the trial itself will be expedited so that justice will be achieved and he can be given the appropriate punishment."

"The effort to bring Demjanjuk to justice sends a very powerful message that the passage of time in no way diminishes the guilt of the perpetrator," Zuroff sai

NEW YORK (CNN) -- A technical snafu left some Visa prepaid cardholders stunned and horrified Monday to see a $23,148,855,308,184,500 charge on their statements.

That's about 2,007 times the size of the national debt.

Josh Muszynski, 22, of Manchester, New Hampshire, was one Visa customer aghast to find the 17-digit charge on his bill. Adding insult to injury, he had also been hit with a $15 overdraft fee.

He noticed that his debt exceeded the world GDP while making a routine balance inquiry on his online Bank of America account. According to his statement, he had spent the profound sum in one pop at a nearby Mobil gas station -- his regular stop for Camel cigarettes.

"Very, very panicked," he jumped in his car and sped to the station.

Had they perhaps noticed any "outrageous" charges come across their books recently, he inquired of the cashier there. She checked the records. They had not.

Muszynski wondered aloud what he might possibly have asked to purchase for such an astronomical price. "Can I buy Europe on pump 4?"

He next called Bank of America, the issuer of his Visa prepaid debit card. The bank kept him on hold for two hours, during which time he contemplated the impossibly bleak financial future that might await him. He also felt a stab of fear that he had saddled all his unborn grandchildren -- and their grandchildren -- with a lifetime of debt. "Down the generational line, nobody would have any money."

Finally, a bank representative told him that the $23 quadrillion charge -- and the $15 overdraft fee -- would be stricken from his account.

Muszynski compared the giant debt reprieve to receiving "an amazing Monopoly card that says, 'Bank error in your favor.' "

In a statement, Visa said the rogue charges affected "fewer than 13,000 prepaid transactions" and resulted from a "temporary programming error at Visa Debit Processing Services ... [which] caused some transactions to be inaccurately posted to a small number of Visa prepaid accounts."

The company assured customers that the problem has been fixed and that all falsely issued fees have been voided. "Erroneous postings have been removed ... this incident had no financial impact on Visa prepaid cardholders."
