David Beckham will appear in an advert alongside California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The LA Galaxy hunk, 34, will be seen playing football in a commercial to plug the US state.
It will be a massive campaign, a source tells The Sun.
It shows the governor believes David is a big catch in getting tourists to visit.
Actor Rob Lowe will also star in the ad.
We've learned Michael Douglas' son -- actor Cameron Douglas -- has been arrested in New York City for possession of methamphetamines with the intent to distribute.
It's not the first time Cameron has been busted for drugs. Back in 2007 he was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance after cops found a syringe with liquid cocaine in a car he was in.
The mugshot in this article is from his 2007 arrest.
We're told the 30-year-old actor was taken into custody by federal authorities earlier today. He remains in custody.

The mum of three is putting on a brave face but friends and family are becoming increasingly concerned about her fragile state of mind.
Last week Jordan went on ITV1s Loose Women and declared that shed never been happier, but privately her pain is causing great worry for those closest to her including mum Amy and best friend Michelle Heaton.
Jordan, 31, broke down when her mum tried to tell her that her behaviour had become unacceptable after hearing about her antics at Michelles 30th birthday party.
Friends say that Jordan was so drunk, she was rambling incoherently and was falling on the floor muttering to herself. Amy, concerned that her daughters life is turning into a car crash, tried to warn her to no avail.
A source says: She flew into a rage like a woman possessed, saying: Im f***ing Jordan I can do what I want. No one can tell me what to do. The kids were horrified to see their mummy so upset. She then went upstairs and no one saw her for hours.
Now can reveal that over the last year friends and family have feared for the ex-glamour models welfare.

Katherine Jackson Withdraws Petition for Control of Michael's Estate
During the same hearing that granted Katherine Jackson custody of Michael's three children, the mother of the late singer withdrew her petition for control of his estate.
The Associated Press reports that when the Los Angeles Superior Court resumed its probate hearing Monday, Judge Mitchell Beckloff ruled that Jackson's longtime attorney John Branca and music executive John McClain will continue to administer the singer's estate until at least October.
The men have had control for nearly a month and have the authority to negotiate deals and transition Jackson's assets into a private trust.
(Although it is unclear how much money Katherine and her grandchildren will receive in allowance from the singer's estate in the meantime, the trust designates that 40 percent of the estate goes to Katherine, 40 percent goes to the children and 20 percent goes to various charities.)

Just before midnight on August 5, 1962, the British Union Jack was lowered and the Jamaican flag raised for the first time, marking Jamaica's independence and the dawn of a new era.
The national parade, flag-raising ceremony and fireworks were held at the National Stadium with the evening's events beginning at 11 p.m. More than 20,000 people gathered at the venue for the night's celebrations.Full story here

Yesterday a release was sent to the offices of 876radio.com by Nikki-Z in an effort to add some clarity to the incident and it read.
"This is in response to the malicious and fictitious article written on a Dancehall/Reggae website in regards to an incident that took place on May 16th 2009. I currently am the Entertainment Director at Clipper's II and trendy new Hot Spot in Queens and was giving the hosting duties for a Show Entitled "It's It's It's Serani" The show was scheduled to begin 1:00am but due to the late entry of the crowd, it was running extremely late.
From about 1:30 till a little past 3:00am I was hosting on the mic while Hell Razor was selecting. At this time a young lady who I now understand is named Sami came on the stage and proceeded to start to play music, after stating something to Hell Razor he then came and took the microphone that was in my hand and began to MC while she in turn selected. This was not a problem.
After 5-10 minutes proceeded I was approached by people affiliated with show and that the artiste was ready and to call up an artiste name Rushaun who was to perform before Serani. I asked if the artiste was sure he was ready and if the music was lined up and they responded with yes "They are ready now" as the shows host it is my duty to comply with what I am being told in regards to the show program.
So at that time I had a second mic that Yard Vibes Sound provided to me and began to start the show. At this point no words were exchanged between myself and Sami but after I started the program Sami then attempted to snatch the mic very aggressively out of my hand. Out of shock my first reaction was to push her off of my hand and she then fell back. Security among others then intervened and escorted her off of the stage very abruptly.
The show began without another interruption, Sami even entered back on stage to retrieve her things and once again we passed each other but without a word exchange or problem. The article stated security prevented her from coming back... but yet she did!... The article stated I took away "Her" mic.... she never had a mic Hell Razor did! The article quoted that I told security to let her go.
I am the Entertainment Director at this new hot spot, if I wanted that to happen it would have. I am constantly villanized no matter what the situation is and most times I remain silent and except the hand that is being dealt to me but this time I refuse. If as a DJ you feel your time is cut short then talk to me as a person much less a woman, what you won't do is put your hands on me as if you feel I am someone to push over.
If you want proper play time sorted out, show up for the event on time! Clubs have to close at 4:00am in Queens. How can you expect to get full play time if you start after 3:00am the people paid to see Serani it was his name on the flyer and he the patrons paid for. You were not on the flyer or advertisement so as a bonus play early... play Prime time even 2:00 - 2:30am but to expect to get full time during showtime is ludicrous and unreasonable.
Right now I represent my family I represent Irie Jam 93.5 I, Busy Radio in CT I, Road Block Radio and I represent Caribbean Hot 30 (Which air on 16 radio Stations in the Caribbean) What I don't represent is childishness, foolishness, hype and friggery! According to reports in the Spanish media on Friday the deal was agreed during a dinner meeting between Barcelona president Joan Laporta and Inter president Massimo Moratti in Milan on Thursday night.

Beenie Man ruled!
It was Beenie Man all the way at Reggae Sumfest Dancehall night held at the Catherine Hall Entertainment complex on Thursday. The organizers officially crowned him King of the Dancehall and he lived up to the title in every way. Beenie Man was the crowds darling and he could do no wrong fro them. From the word go, he was totally in charge as he give them exactly what they wanted real entertainment. When he poked a little fun at Bounty and DAngel with the Michael Jackson/Paul McCartney c****ination The Girl Is Mine the crowd ate it all up. Beenie wasnt the only one who delivered big time on the stage dancehall night, Bounty Killer came out in a militant mood declaring himself as the poor peoples voice. He made it clear he is a man now and not a youthbefore going into a totally satisfying performance. His other Alliance stable mate Mavado did not have any such luck as he failed to get the crowd going. Vybz Kartel on the other hand was a hit with the Gaza friendly crowd. It was twice the fun when later on he joined Beenie Man on stage.
Earlier in the evening young acts such as Stacious, G-Mac and I-Octane managed to give account of themselves. Digicel Diva DAngel came out more like a go-go- dancer pole and all and for all that still fell flat in her performance. The other Digicel Diva Lady Saw showed why she is called the Queen of the dancehall. She had the crowd lapping up everything she dished out. It was even more fun she incited a Caucasian to pat her front it was hilarious watching the timid man trying to obey Saws instruction to pat and talk dirty to her. Malaria breeds money - $1B for on-call payments to health workers; Health ministry launches investigation

The Ministry of Health will be launching an investigation into allegations of wanton abuse and mismanagement of an on-call payment facility, specially approved by the finance ministry to compensate public-health nurses and other health workers for the extra work they were expected to perform during the malaria outbreak in 2006.
The Sunday Gleaner understands that approximately $1 billion was paid out under the special-payment mechanism long after the spread of the vector-borne disease had been contained.

Neither MICHAEL JACKSON nor DEBBIE ROWE are the Biological Parents!
According to bossip.com, Michael Jackson was not the biological father of any of his children. And Debbie Rowe is not the biological mother of the two kids she bore for Michael. All three children were conceived in vitro outside the w****.
Multiple sources deeply connected to the births tell us Michael was not the sperm donor for any of his kids. Debbies eggs were not used. She was merely the surrogate, and paid well for her services in the births of Michael Jr. and Paris.
In the case of Prince Michael II (the youngest), were told the surrogate was never told of the identity of the receiving parent Michael Jackson. Three days after Prince was born at Grossmont Hospital in San Diego County, Jacksons lawyer came to the hospital to pick the baby up and deliver him to Michael. We do not know if Jackson chose the sperm or egg donors or if he even knew who they were.
Although Rowe is not the biological mother, its not a slam dunk that she would lose a custody battle. This type of case has never been litigated in California courts.
Since Rowe was married to Jackson when Michael Jr. and Paris were born, theres a presumption that shes the biological parent. That presumption can be rebutted by other evidence.
We know there are documents outlining the whole arrangement for the birth of all three kids. Nonetheless, its still an open issue with the courts.

Game Slams Jay-Z, Kanye West's Girlfriend On New Diss Record
The heart of the venom goes back to earlier this month when Jay rapped the intro from his forthcoming Blueprint 3 LP at several concert appearances.
"I ain't talkin' about Game/ I ain't talkin' about Jimmy [Jones]/ I ain't talkin' about Dame/ I'm talkin' about real sh-- them people playin'/ What is you talkin' about? I don't know what y'all sayin'."
Game responded on Twitter on July 4, saying he wasn't going to dis Jay, but then proceeded to do just that at concerts overseas. Game has been encouraging the crowd at his shows in a call-and-response to say, "F--- Jay-Z." He's also been calling the veteran Jiggaman "old."
On Saturday afternoon, a full-fledged assault on Jay called "I'm So Wavy" hit the Internet.
"You got cheese and I kill rats," Game raps. He then gets very disrespectful: "Do something with that/ Or respond to this/ With them big-ass lips, you got my name in your mouth ..." He goes on to insult Hov further, referencing Beyoncé and Drake, and then lobs a missile at Kanye West's girlfriend.
"Yes my n---a, so, I'm gonna give him some advice/ Get rid of Amber Rose/ I'mma tell you how she get down/ I was at Diddy's afterparty/ Sippin' Cris, she was whispering at Chris Brown/ I seen Chris turn his head like, 'No'/ Then 'Gold Digger' came on, I pointed like, 'Ho!' "
As the record fades out, Game talks and levies some unfounded allegations, including that Jay-Z and Kanye had a fight backstage somewhere, and that Jay blackballed Chris Brown from the recent BET Awards. A rep for BET told MTV News last month that no one, including Jay-Z, had Brown banned from the show, noting that Brown's appearance was never confirmed; MTV News also received that information from a source close to Brown.

MC introduced Bounty the huge crowd illuminated Catherine Hall with
torches and lighters. From start to finish the 5 Star General
received nothing but love from everyone present, wether Gully or Gaza.
With some speeches that connected with the hearts and minds of all in
attendance at Sumfest's Dancehall night, coupled with scorching
intros and lyrical delivery, it was Bounty Killer at his supreme best
when many were hoping he would fail.

July 30, 2009. MediaTakeOut.com just received some DISTURBING news. A Florida man Mercedes Antwan Faggett was arrested on Sunday and charged with raping his 7 year old male cousin.
According to police reports, the 7 year old victim told relatives that Faggett took him to a living room area of a home during the early morning hours and forced him to have sexual intercourse.
Faggett is being charged with Capital Sexual Battery.
Eminem Slams Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon In New Dis Track, 'The Warning'
The battle pitting Eminem against Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon - which began with Em's "Bagpipes From Baghdad" and continued with Carey's "Obsessed" - took another turn Thursday night (July 30), when Slim Shady dropped a new dis track against Mariah called "The Warning."
Before he starts rapping, Em tells Carey, "Only reason I dissed you in the first place is because you denied seeing me. Now I'm pissed off."
He doesn't stop there. "You wanna hear something wick wack?/ I got the same exact tattoo that's on Nick's back," the Detroit MC says a few seconds into his rap.

"[If] you gonna ruin my career, you better get one," Em advises Nick Cannon.
In recent weeks, all three parties have denied any hard feelings: When asked about his angry blog post about "Baghdad," Cannon emphasized there was never any beef; Em has the song's lyrics were "misinterpreted"; Carey and Cannon both denied that the male-stalker character she plays in the new video for "Obsessed" - a character with a striking resemblance to Eminem - was supposed to be a parody of Slim Shady.
Carey has denied having a previous relationship with Eminem; Eminem has insisted there was one.

Carey told MTV News, "Everybody started having their own speculations about who the stalker [in the video] was. So basically, you know, all the speculation about who I'm playing in the video, it's not accurate."

The first ever Reggae Academy Award which Rohan Roberts was in attendance saw a modest turn out, with several internationals acts making their debut. The focus of the Academy was to use the show as a medium to rewards me****ers of the entertainment fraternity for their hard work through the years and there were several winners in various catergories including three special awards that were presented to Chris Blackwell, Rita Marley and Ernie Ranglin.
The young producer was nominated for three awards and received one of the biggest encores of the night, as from the very mention of his name in the category of "Best Dancehall Riddim" with two nomination for 'Power Cut' and 'Tremor' everyone started shouting his name as the favourite to nab the awards and so he did. The other contenders were 'Sativa' by Don Corleone and 'Gear Box' by the producer known as Truck Back.
The award was presented to him by recording greats Steelie and Clevie. Stephen a man of very few words, took the stage dressed in a black suit accented with a light grey shirt and a very retro looking black and white sunglasses. He paid homage to all whom were before him, except his dad, even though the crowd kept shouting, daddy, daddy, he just smiled and exited so we know it was just a honest mistake, that can happen to anyone, as one can easily be overwhelmed at the magnitude of the moment.

"What is wrong with Jamaica, has the country gone mad?" My Friend P asked last week as the chatter about the media personality, actor and actress 'true blue' videos being transmitted by email and via Bluetooth technology on cellphones took on its own life.
Before we explore the insanity of these incidents last week, it is time for us to do the official are you old check. If you did not get an email of these steamy videos it is final. You are old. Yup, you are so out of it that you did not know a soul who was in the circle of 'know' who got this mail.
No clueIt also means that even if you did know people who got the mail - they had so much respect for you [this also reads 'you are old!'] that they would have felt a bit cute sending it to you - so they didn't. And God forbid if you are now reading this column and you live in Jamaica and you have no clue what we are talking about - you are old, grey, decrepit and on the verge of senility. Wake up and pay attention!
Oh, you all want to know where I fall. Well, somewhere in between. Didn't get the damn mail! Though, this might have something to do with my announcement to all my associates that I do not read FWD email unless it is at work. FWD email gets an instant delete from me. But I did hear about the stories on the 'vine'.
Sex-education classI have a couple of things to say to the stars in these videos.
1. Maybe they forgot to mention it in the sex-education class when you guys were at school, or when your parents gave you the birds and the bees talk but figure this: Copulation [sex] is a private act. Private: a state in which one is not OBSERVED or disturbed by others. [Oxford].
2. When you are kids it is one thing, but when you HAVE kids, you owe it to them to even pretend in public that you are a half respectable and decent person. Now, this is not suggesting that sex itself is indecent, but how many of us even as adults find comfort in conjuring an image of our parents having sex? Nope. We do not wrap our minds around our parents as sexual beings unless you come from some incestuous family!
Passing aroundThe reality of these videos perplexed me quite a bit. Because I was, and still am, unable to understand what would possess someone to first tape themselves having sex, and second, to keep the recording so carelessly that someone else might get it! I realised that I was in a generational void on this issue as many young people [read as people 25 and under] were not that bent out of shape about the recording but were more concerned about the perpetual passing around of the obscene video. Of course, these were people who not only watched the videos at length but had no qualms about themselves sending it around to their friends to have a gawk at the actor, actress and media personality in the throes of private-made-public passions.
Old technologiesOne thing for sure is that the advent of new, now old technologies in the form of Big Brother Internet, camera phones and the Star Trek feature of Bluetooth transference, the word and the notion of privacy as we once knew it has changed dramatically. Which further begs the common sense of recording such a private affair, unless, of course, the real plan was to share it with a couple of friends. And I cannot help but think that this was the sick ultimate plan.
Clearly, morality as we know it is changing at rates that the society can hardly even come to terms with. Or am I just a prude? My heart bleeds for the children of these now forever to be labelled Porn Stars - it is the kind of thing that must make one want to trade in a parent!
MAN, DOG BEATEN FOR TEMPTING KIDS - Accused of sick plot to take away children
A man and his dog were severely beaten by residents of Tilston district, Trelawny, following accusations that he tried to lure little kids away by using toys.
Information reaching THE STAR is that last Friday, the man and his dog was chased, held and beaten after it was alleged that two dolls were used to lure a five-year-old girl out of her yard. It is claimed that the accused man was spotted taking her to a section of the community known as 'Mango Bush'.
An alarm was raised and when the man was accosted, he reportedly told the residents that he was taking her there to to pick mangoes.
THE STAR heard that while explaining himself, the man suddenly made a dash and tried to flee the group of residents who gave chase.
The 40-year-old man ran with his dog beside him for a short distance before he was accosted and beaten by the residents who accused him of being a potential paedophile.

Iron pipes, sticks and pieces of wood were used to inflict a number of blows on the man who was left to suffer a broken leg and hand along with other injuries.
"... Him si di pickney inna har yard and trick har wid two dolly," one resident, Kevin Patterson, said.
The angry residents also turned their wrath to the man's dog that stuck by his master's side while he was being beaten. Patterson added: "A lucky all di dog lucky cause a bun wi did ago bun him cause him a part a it to." The fortunate canine, however, escaped alive from its portion of the beating.
According to the resident this was the third time in two months that the man has been accused of using toys to lure kids from their homes. They also said that he is known to walk around which a bag of toys that are for sale.
Residents told THE STAR that on the first two occasions, the children were sent home by residents and the man given a stern warning.
About three weeks ago, residents said a six-year-old boy was seen in the company of the man also heading to Mango Bush. In that incident, the boy was seen with a toy truck and a water gun. The youngster later told residents he was promised the toys if he followed the man to Mango Bush.
The Area One police confirmed the incident and told THE STAR they will be looking to speak with the accused man because of the information they have received.
"We have spoken to a number of residents and the information we have is disturbing to say the least," Inspector Marcus Young of the Area One police told THE STAR.
As you all might know, Drake has a torn ACL and is limping all over the place for the past while. As you all might also know, tonight is the opening night for his tour with Young Money, Jeezy, and Soulja Boy. The group will be playing a total of 47 arena dates across the US. Doctors told Drake to sit it out, but Drake decided to make a personal decision and carry on the show, risking further injury.

Terrance, BET's 106andPark host was in attendance at the BET Rising Stars event last night, and he too full advantage of the free Grey Goose.
There are even reports that Terrance is actually a funny and entertaining dude when he's drunk, and not that corny type of funny that we see everyday on 106andPark.
Free Grey Goose? That is a good enough reason to act a fool. Hope Rocsi don't get mad, because that is a cute a couple.
