n recent years an ongoing debate has brewed over advertisers and fashion magazines using photographs, particularly photographs of women, that have seemingly been altered, or "retouched," by airbrushing and photo editing software such as Photoshop. The latest such image to cause an uproar is one featured in a new Ralph Lauren advertisement that shows a model, Filippa Hamilton, so emaciated that her waist actually appears to be smaller than her head.
On September 29th, Boing Boing's Xeni Jardin posted the ad, which originally appeared on a blog dedicated to pointing out suspected retouched images called Photoshop Disasters, with the comment, "Dude, her head's bigger than her pelvis." Ralph Lauren responded by filing a Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) complaint against Boing Boing and Photoshop Disasters, claiming that their use of the image was a copyright infringement that fell outside of the Fair Use laws which allow the media to reproduce creative content for the purposes of commentary and criticism.

At least that's one of the proverb-invoking sentiments Mariah Carey's hubby twittered today in response to Slim Shady's latest dig at him and the missus.

Veteran deejay Bounty Killer, who in the '90s was vilified for his plethora of 'gun anthems' and who gave Mavado and Vybz Kartel a start in the music business, said both deejays need to participate in a public forum.
"Nuff yutes out there under di influence of 'Gully' or 'Gaza'," he said.
"Me need unnuh (media) fi tek Mavado and Kartel and discuss dat. It nuh affi be di two a dem same time but dem fi do some public forum and mek di people dem si seh a nuh nutten serious, 'cause a nuh JLP or PNP again."
Vybz Kartel said he would be willing to take part in such a forum.
"I have no problem being involved in anything that will reinforce in the minds of the Jamaican youth that tribalism, violence, illiteracy and intolerance to our fellow men's views will not make us a better nation," he said
Vybz Kartel told The Gleaner that his differences with Mavado remains musical. He, however, doesn't believe the impact that the 'Gaza' or 'Gully' contention has on society is more damaging than those of other sectors of society, such as politics and religion.
"Gaza/Gully is just a musical rivalry between the barber (Mavado) and I, and I think the garrison understands that this is only entertainment. The only impact it has is that it brings about discussion and debates," said Vybz Kartel.
"It (lyrical battle) sometimes brings heated verbal arguments and very rare instances of physical altercations, but no more than political or religious debates have done and will continue doing."
Vybz Kartel sided with Dr Gayle's theory of the detrimental lack of sufficient social tools.
"All these areas that these 'Gaza' or 'Gully' incidents occur are the same areas that were violent from day one. We in the garrison need direction and hope and a way out and society doesn't provide the youths with constructive development tools, so music is all the garrison has," he added.
Mavado pointed out that their music and message should not be singled out as a catalyst for violence.
"There is no work, high school youth a drop out of school, no social development in inner-city communities; a suffocation. A youth who is 14 has to stop going school because his/her mother can't provide financially," he said. "The country a devalue every day, things only getting worse, all these things are causing it. But through we (Mavado and Vybz Kartel) are doing the music, and they know we're powerful as musicians, because we speak for the people, them (the authorities) try to put everything on us."

Thriller U of the popular reggae group LUST is mourning the loss of his 16-year-old daughter who was reportedly shot and killed after gunmen invaded her home in Miramar, Florida, in the United States on Monday.

When THE STAR contacted the Miramar police yesterday, all queries were directed to a public relations officer. Calls to that person, however, went unanswered up to press time.
Efforts to speak with Thriller U, real name Eustace Hamilton, were also unsuccessful.
However, group member and friend Singing Melody last night told THE STAR that he had spoken to Thriller U who he described as being devastated.

"Approximately 2:54 p.m. we received a 911 call from a third party, stating that there was a woman that was shot," said Miramar police spokesperson Tania Rues. When officers arrived at the home at 9581 Encino Street, they found a woman lying out in front of the house and three people dead inside the residence. Dancehall artiste Blak Ryno was released yesterday after spending a night in jail for an alleged attack on his neighbour at his Winchester Estate apartment. The popular singer was slapped with two charges of unlawful wounding and assault occasioning bodily harm as a result. Police say the incident stemmed from a dispute over unpaid water bills by the artiste, whose real name is Romane Anderson. Reports are that about 7:15 p.m. on Saturday, the complainant, who is chairman of the strata committee at the apartment complex, was in a long-standing dispute over unpaid water contributions, which is mandatory for residents. Police reports indicate that the altercation got ugly when the complainant was accused of damaging pipes, resulting in loss of water to Ryno's home. During the argument, Blak Ryno is alleged to have kicked the complainant to the ground and kicked him repeatedly all over his body. This is said to have resulted in cuts to the complainant's shoulder and both elbows, as well as swellings on the side of the head, back, face, stomach and chest. A report was made to the Half-Way Tree Police Station and the artiste was arrested and charged.
LANDLORD'S RESPONSIBILITY The STAR spoke with Blak Ryno, who was at the time at a mineral bath making efforts to "wash away the crosses" he says was brought against him unjustly. "From yu hear dat u mus know a lie. Di non-payments cause by my landlord, and him (complainant) know that, but him want a reason fi come a style man caa him dun seh me as a ghetto yout nu fi deh deh (don't belong there)," said the soft-spoken Ryno. He also indicated that the police charged him based on the complainant's report. "From long time dis man a do tings fi try draw me out so him can do dis ... all walk him dog come p pon mi mat regular an dem nastiness deh. Di ting did get physical after him walk come over my apartment, which is way down a corridor from his own, with his dog," Ryno explained. He continued, "Me have nothin' gainst dogs, but dis one rush me, so mi ease (kick) him off wit mi foot in defence and dis man box me, so a suh di ting get physical ... mi did mad seh him mash up mi water pipe dem yes. All police weh come fi arrest mi seh him wrong." Efforts to secure station bail for Ryno proved futile on Saturday night, as the complainant told police Ryno had threatened his life, so they decided to hold him for the night.
JAIL CELL PANDEMONIUM But that night of incarceration was an experience Ryno says didn't bother him, as the overwhelming eruption of exuberance from prisoners at the jail made him feel more welcome than at his 'uptown' apartment complex. "It come like a Gaza mi deh although mi deh a jail, caa every man in deh a seh Gaza ... mek yu feel comfortable fi know nobody nah do yu nothing. Imagine mi cyaa get da peace deh whe mi live," said Ryno. A police source confirmed that the response from the jailed men was overwhelming. "As dem hear is Blak Ryno in jail with them you could hear the pandemonium from the station, which is a separate building ... look like a whole heap of Gaza fans we have lock up, so I can imagine how many songs Ryno sing," quipped the officer, who requested anonymity. Jamaican Prime Minister Bruce Golding said the country's parliament would not recognize same-sex marriage while he was in power.
"Imake no apology in saying decisively and emphatically that the government of Jamaica remains irrevocably opposed to the recognition,legitimization or acceptance of same-sex marriages or same-sex unions,"Golding said on Tuesday.
The prime minister was opening parliamentary debate on a majorproposed amendment to the constitution which would lay out the scope ofrights and freedoms for Jamaicans.
The provision, known as the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms, has been under consideration for several years in the island nation.
"There isthe possibility that sometime in the future parliament could pass a law that says same-sex unions are legal but it won't be done in this parliament. Not as long as I sit here."
Golding, who in 2007 told the BBC he would not allow gays to sit in his cabinet, said he does not believe it is the business of government to "interfere in what two consenting adults chose to do with in their own protected privacy.
Buthe stressed "I will not accept it that homosexuality must be acceptedas a legitimate form of behavior or the equivalent of marriage."
Heacknowledged to parliament that his stance could prompt the"aggressive" international gay-rights lobby to continue attempts to discourage tourists and investors from traveling to Jamaica.
"But we remain stead fast in our determination that the values and culture must be protected and preserved," Golding said.
Jamaica's constitution affirms the right to freedom of association, but the country has experienced recent antipathy towards gays and gay rightsgroups, according to Human Rights Watch.
Earlier this year therights group wrote the prime minister urging action to stem endemicviolence against gays, bisexuals and transgender people in Jamaica andc alling for Golding to condemn a member of his Jamaica Labor Party who called for tightening of laws against homosexual conduct.

PhotoshopDisasters has published what they claim is another freakishly retouched Ralph Lauren ad. The picture of model Valentina Zelyaeva wearing all gray -- and suffering from a bad case of pelvis-smaller-than-head-syndrome -- was found in a window display in Sydney, Australia.
Ralph Lauren hasn't commented on the new photo.
This image follows last week's Ralph Lauren retouching revelation: the designer apologized for fixing up a shot of size 4 Filippa Hamilton, and Hamilton spoke out, saying she was fired for being too fat.

FORT COLLINS, Colo. A 6-year-old boy was found hiding in a cardboard box in his family's garage attic Thursday after being feared aboard a homemade helium balloon that hurtled 50 miles through the sky on live television.
The discovery marked a bizarre end to a saga that started when the giant silvery balloon floated away from the family's yard Thursday morning, sparking a frantic rescue operation that involved military helicopters and briefly shut down Denver International Airport.
But Sheriff Jim Alderden turned to reporters during a news conference and gave a thumbs up and said 6-year-old Falcon Heene is "at the house." "Apparently he's been there the whole time," he said.
The boy's father, Richard Heene, said the family was tinkering with the balloon Thursday and that he scolded Falcon for getting inside a compartment on the craft. He said Falcon's brother had seen him inside the compartment before it took off and that's why they thought he was in there when it launched.
But the boy fled to the attic at some point after the scolding and was never in the balloon during its two-hour, 50-mile journey through two counties. "I yelled at him. I'm really sorry I yelled at him," Heene said as he hugged his son during a news conference.
"I was in the attic and he scared me because he yelled at me," Falcon said. "That's why I went in the attic."
Richard Heene adamantly denied the notion that the whole thing was a big publicity stunt. "That's horrible after the crap we just went through. No."
The flying saucer-like craft tipped precariously at times before gliding to the ground in a field. With the child nowhere in sight, investigators searched the balloon's path. Several people reported seeing something fall from the craft while it was in the air, and yellow crime-scene tape was placed around the home.

The mother of the child is Rosie Chin and it was also rumored that the father of the child was Craig from the group Voicemail.
Hmmm, Chin?? And does that rumor mean that she gets around?
Well to end all rumors, a DNA test that was done earlier in the week proves that Chino is the father!
RosieChin is also the sister of Shantal Chin, the young lady who is now seeking help from the Family Court to get support from dancehall artiste Busy Signal for maintenance of their child.
We've all heard about the girls who plot on celebrities and invest in turkey basters with attempts to 'lock 'em down' - it sounds like this run in the family, the Chin sisters are surely making a name for themselves.
I'm not saying that these babies did not come from pure and true love... I'm just saying I doubt it.
Somany artists get caught up in the foolishness of groupies and unprotected sex that it's truly hard to believe. I guess you can't hate the player.. hate the game.
I laugh, but I'm a bit disappointed.

Selector Kurt Riley was arrested and charged by the police early yesterday morning, after he allegedly disobeyed orders to turn off the music at 'Stir it up' party, which was being held at Mas Camp in St Andrew.
Riley was charged with breaches of the Noise Abatement Act and use of indecent language.
He is to appear in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on October 15.
According to reports, the police received calls from persons complaining that they were being disturbed. A police team went to the venue sometime around 2 a.m. but allowed the party to continue for another hour.
Upon the return of the police, Riley, who was at the turntables, was ordered to turn off the music.
He is alleged to have disobeyed the orders and uttered expletives, as he played deejay Wasps' 'Officer', a song which hits out at the turning off of parties and it's perceived effects on society.
"Nuh lock off di soun' officer, an gwaan like yu tek me fi clown officer..." the song says. Riley was subsequently arrested and charged.
When THE STAR spoke with Riley last evening, he denied the allegations. "I'm not even that type of person, I wasn't even thinking about playing that song..I've been working with the police for years and I would never do that," he said.

Yesterday after getting his latest toy, a 2010 Nissan GTR, world 100m record holder, Usain Bolt, was invited to take his car this weekend to Dover for a gentlemanly race.
Bolt was invited after JRDC Driver's Championship contender, Douglas 'Hollywood' Gore heard of his new acquisition. Gore also invited former record holder, Asafa Powell to the event as well.
The Nissan GTR replaces a 2009 BMW M3 which Bolt overturned on the Highway 2000 toll road earlier this year. Asafa Powell is also the proud owner of a Black Series CLK C63 Mercedes, which is the 575 hp version of the already hot Kompressor C-Class.

Bolt, the fastest man in the world, drove away in the exotic supercar after a brief photo opportunity at Worldtron Motors, Chelsea Avenue, St Andrew, yesterday. The twin turbo charged Nissan GTR is rated at 485 hp and has a top speed of 190+ mph. Purchase price is estimated at more than 110,000 pounds sterling (J$15,400,000).
In describing Bolt's new car, Gore said: "The M3 was more of a sporting sedan; I think the GTR is probably one of the ultimate sports cars. Knowing that it is a four wheel drive vehicle with traction aids, it should give Bolt more control. It is easier to drive and safer at speed."

Tweet me! Despite all the free promotion that 50 Cent has given Fat Joe, for his new album, J.O.S.E. 2-Joe still couldn't manage to move more than 9,000 copies in his first week. Fat Joe sold very disappointing numbers according to Nielsen's Soundscan.
He moved exactly 8,343 copies.
J.O.S.E. 2 was Fat Joe's 9th Studio album and was promoted very poorly. Shocking video of the brutal beating of Jack Price has been released just as news of a second arrest in the case was announced.
Daniel Rodriguez was taken into custody in Norfolk, VA Tuesday night. He had eluded police since his alleged partner in crime Daniel Aleman was arrested and charged with aggravated assault as a hate crime on Sunday.
Police say the suspects perpetrated the unconscionable beating early Friday morning after yelling anti-gay slurs at Price at a deli near his College Point home.
Price suffered a broken jaw, fractured ribs, a lacerated spleen, and the "collapse of both of his lungs." He identified his attackers before being placed in a medically-induced coma.
The video shows the men repeatedly punching and stomping Price as he tries to fend off his attackers. At one point in the video, a car that looks to be a livery taxi drives right by the assault without stopping.
After the suspects leave him *lo**ied in the middle of the street, the 5-foot-6, 130 pound Price can be seen miraculously stumbling away.
Aleman was being held on $20,000 bail Tuesday and charges are pending against Rodriguez.

CASSELTON, N.D. (AP) -- Boomer may be a buster: Measuring 3 feet tall at the shoulders and 7 feet long from nose to destructive wagging tail, he might be the world's tallest living dog. Owner Caryn Weber says her 3-year-old Landseer Newfoundland keeps all four paws on the floor when he drinks from the kitchen faucet in her family's eastern North Dakota farm house.
Boomer stares into car windows eye to eye with drivers. A 20-pound bag of dry dog food lasts the 180-pound canine a couple of weeks.
Weber says her furry black and white dog "comes into the house and his tail is so high everything gets knocked around."
Weber plans to send Boomer's measurements to Guinness World Records. The previous record holder was a nearly 4-foot-tall Great Dane that died this summer.

Wesley Snipes can't seem to get anything right when it comes to his personal finances.
The notorious star of the hit "Blade" trilogy found a new kind of fame last year when he was sentenced to three years in jail for trying to fraudulently obtain $11.4 million of tax refunds between 1999 and 2001. He was also nabbed for willfully failing to file tax returns.
And now a court case in Britain has revealed that Snipes may have lost millions of dollars during that same period in an alleged Ponzi scheme.
Lincoln Fraser and Jared Brook, the two former bosses of a now-defunct British investment firm Imperial Consolidated, went on trial in London at the end of last month accused of defrauding as many as 3,000 victims out of nearly $400 million.
The pair denies running a Ponzi scheme, maintaining that the firm was a legitimate investment operation that merely fell foul of the market.
Prosecutors maintain that Fraser and Brook kept taking money from clients -- including Snipes -- even though they knew the firm was insolvent and incapable of making money.
It is not known exactly how much Snipes lost to the alleged Ponzi scheme, although insiders claim the Hollywood hero invested "millions."
Fraser and Brook, both in their 30s when the firm fell apart, are said to have no financial qualifications. The pair allegedly have frittered away Snipes' cash -- and millions more -- on a luxurious lifestyle that included buying a private jet.
Snipes, meanwhile, has not yet been sent to jail for his tax evasion crimes, despite his conviction last April. The star remains free on bail pending appeal.

Golding announced in parliament that Highway 2000, the Caribbean island's high-speed expressway, will be renamed in "Lightning" Bolt's honor. All eyes will remain on Usain Bolt in the months to come to see if the world's fastest individual has it in him to establish new sprinting records in 2010.

According to Iyara, who is seeking to distance himself from the incident, the media has it wrong. Right yah now mi ah distance myself from the whole ting cause I know nothing bout it. The Alliance dominated Survivor rhythm, from DJ F****, tackles serious issues in the post summer music season. Premiered last Wednesday by ZJ Liquid on 'Fresh to Death' Wednesdays, Survivor is the second rhythm to be released by DJ F****, who saw success earlier this year with the Clearance rhythm. The Clearance rhythm featured the popular Dem Alone from Mavado, Rodney Intention from Bounty Killer and Better Days by Chase Cross. When The STAR spoke with DJ F**** recently, he explained that both rhythms were made for him by producer Russian from Head Concussion Music. Similar to the Clearance rhythm, Survivor has a slightly dark undertone but is easier to move to. The rhythm features 11 artistes, most of whom are Alliance members. According to F****, no Portmore Empire artistes were allowed to voice on the rhythm. He said, "a gully mi sey straight, there was no intention of voicing Gaza on the rhythm. "Mi rate Jah Vinci but mi nuh have no intention of voicing him." While there are no particularly outstanding songs on the rhythm that will grab instant attention, there are strong songs from the likes of Elephant Man, Mr Vegas, Bugle, Flexx and Mavado. Named after Chase Cross' track Survivor, the new comer from the Gully Squad talks about being born and raised through struggles yet keeping a clean record in the title song. Also from the Gully Squad, Deejay Flexx's Gullyside College, a kind of 'gallis anthem', is one of the few female oriented songs on the rhythm. In Psalms A Day, Bugle talks about the ills of the music industry having to deal with 'bad mind' people. He sings, "dem nuh waan hear we sing high notes...just read a psalms a day, tek time out and pray. Mavado's Fall Rain Fall is similar in theme to Bugle's song while the normally dance-oriented Elephant Man takes on a bad man persona in his Do It Nuh deejaying, "who some boy sey dem a go diss outta street...do it nuh..dem only bad inna dem clique." Vegas also represents well tackling homosexuality in Run We Weh. F**** is confident in his latest effort saying, "its getting a good response on radio, Clearance created a buzz, so I expect this to be even hotter than Clearance. Bounty Killer suppose to soon a voice on it as well." He plans to release his next yet to be titled rhythm in November. A Jamaican reggae star was hospitalized in Brooklyn Sunday after he was attacked by a jealous husband wielding a two-foot samurai sword, police and witnesses said.
Major Mackerel, whose real name is Garfield Dixon, was slashed across the head and hand during a fight outside his East Flatbushhome Sunday morning, police said.
Mackerel, one of reggae dancehall's biggest stars in the 1980s, suffered a severe cut on his left palm during the scuffle.
He was somehow all smiles when he walked out of Kings County Hospital seven hours after the 8 a.m. attack.
"I don't feel bad," said Mackerel, still wearing his hospital gown. "These things happen."
"It's a Jamaican thing," said Mackerel, 41, before adding that he was happy his attacker was immediately arrested.
"How can I feel bad for someone who tried to kill me?"
Mackerel was returning to his East 91st St. home from a trip to the store when he was ambushed by his neighbor Oscar Joseph, investigators said.
Joseph, 37, was holding the wicked blade when he confronted Mackerel and claimed his neighbor had been flirting with his wife.
"He was saying [Mackerel] was ha****ing his wife," said Novia Watson, the reggae star's girlfriend. "[But] he doesn't mess with his wife. I don't know why he said that."
After a heated argument, the men started "wrastling for the sword," Watson said.
"It was a big surprise," said Mackerel. "I was trying not to get cut, not to get stabbed."
Joseph wildly swung his blade at his downstairs neighbor, opening up a small cut on Mackerel's head and slicing his hand.
"He was chopped with a sword," Watson said. "I couldn't believe it."
Joseph was arrested minutes later in front of the building, still cl**tching the *lo**y sword. He was charged with assault with intent to cause a serious injury, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
Mackerel, who denied ha****ing Joseph's wife but admitted that a few of his friends may have cat-called her earlier in the year, first tried to play down the seriousness of the assault.
"I had a little argument with a guy and a fell," the lanky reggae star joked. "Just kidding. I had a fight and I got cut."
Mackerel released several albums in the late 1980s and early 1990s, and gained fame in reggae circles for hits like "Dutty Bungle" and "Sorry Fi Botha."
Joseph, whom neighbors said kept to himself, had several prior arrests for unlicensed driving but no previous violent crimes, according to records

The Gully Vs Gaza issue has been the most talked about and publicized topic since the start of the year. This new dancehall fever of Gully Vs Gaza has already become more popular than both political parties (JLP & PNP). However, the big question is what would be your reaction if you were to hear Bruce Golding shouting "A Gaza Mi Seh," publicly? Would it be just as shocking if the world's fastest man Usain Bolt shout it as well?
"A Gaza mi seh, and who nuh like dat jump inna gully." shouted Usain Bolt at a party that was recently held at the Quad Nightclub in respect of his achievement at this year's meets in Berlin.
crooks n skilla went out a road and conducted a vox-pop asking the public: Should Usain Bolt take sides in the Gully, Gaza feud? Especially he's about to get Government honors.

First of all everyone is entitled to his/her opinion but with success and role-model-ship, you are expecting one's opinion to not being bias even when that is their intended choice. Bolt has to understand that being the world fastest man on earth comes with a price and that is maturity, respect and adjusting your lifestyle and personality to fit the innocent admiration he gets from the public.

I am going to blame this on Bolt's management team. You have to understand that Bolt is still a young man who wishes to enjoy his younger years as any other young person would. To me Bolt doesn't cares about being a star when he's off the track he just wants to be human once he's not on duties and that you have to respect. But from the very first time he shouted Gaza on national TV then his management team should have let Bolt be aware of the negative impact this Gaza and Gully feud can have on his career.

We are all saying this and that but I think the problem is Bolt doesn't even realise that he's bigger than this Gaza and Gully antics. Bolt should be the one to hold a press meeting inviting both Mavado and Vybz Kartel which he would call for peace between both artistes. However, at the end of the day I would not blame it on Bolt, blame it on immaturity.

I am not a fan of feuding dancehall artistes, but when someone like Bolt who I give great respect to stoop-low to a Gaza, Gully level and behave as if he's a 13 year-old that hurts. I hope when he receive his honors, they will appoint someone to train him how to act in the eyes of the public because he definitely needs training. Where are the role models when you need one, oh I guess they are "pon di Gaza"?

Fans get personal with Killer

Knowing that the self-proclaimed 'Ground God', Bounty Killer, would be giving them their chance to rap with him, fans from all across the island, began calling at least two hours before the scheduled 6 p.m. appointment, as they were determined to hear the 'Warlord' in person.
Prior to the phone chat, Bounty Killer, who was the STAR's artiste for the month of September, interacted with some very interesting, yet dedicated fans online, who in return, took the opportunity to ask him about some very pressing issues.
'Gully/Gaza' feud
Some asked about the ongoing 'Gully/Gaza' feud, others asked about the new feud between his musical son, Mavado and Cassava-Piece based selector, Foota Hype, while others simply praised Bounty Killer for his musical contribution to dancehall music which spans over a decade.
The phone chat was also very exciting, as the calls were very hilarious, but none beating the potency of Sheldon Pang, who claimed he has been a fan of Bounty Killer since 1992.
He said, in a very exciting tone, "Killa a you dat? Yow mi a yuh biggest fan ennuh ... yuh a di boss ... mi nuh know if yuh know me but remember mi did deh a Sumfest a jump up inna di crowd?" As if Bounty Killer could have really picked him out of a crowd of thousands of other jumping fans.
Despite being a hard-core lyricist, mostly for his gun anthem songs, Bounty Killer was quite popular with the females, as a number of them called in. Some were in disbelief, saying, "I cyah believe mi a talk to yuh now, Killer a really you dat?"
A very dumbfounded Kerene, who called in from Portmore, St Catherine, gave words of encouragement to the deejay and his Alliance crew, particularly pinpointing Mavado. She said: "Just gwaan do your ting Killa, yuh a di biggest thing. Mi waa yuh tell Mavado fi gwaan easy and nuh mek nuh badi draw im out."
In the end, a very pleased Bounty Killer said, "It wicked ennuh! Yuh si seh a crazy ting, di fans dem luv we. The most important thing they (fans) asked me was about di Kartel-Bolt thing (where Bolt made utterances about his support for Gaza at a recent celebration party), Foota Hype and Mavado. Those things are something I would want to discuss anytime."

Dancer Mystic has somehow found herself in Busy Signal's 'baby mamma drama', as rumours have been spreading that she too is pregnant for the deejay.
She, however, dispelled these rumours, saying, "Mi and Busy neva inna no communication like that. We are not even close friends. Nobody can ever seh dem see me and Busy a par. Me and Busy have a business relationship. Me and him nuh link like that, never have and I don't see anything like that in the near future," she told THE STAR.
"I think it (rumour) is coming from people who just waan have something to say," she said.
Mystic said the public has seen her in videos, commercials and on stage shows with Busy Signal and assume that they are in a relationship as a result.
She said she began hearing the rumours last week from someone, who said the rumour has been in mill for a very long time. She said it has got to the point where artistes and even her close friends have been asking if the allegations are true.
"Di rumour dem stink a road. Di amount a people weh touch mi tummy and a ask if mi pregnant and all dem a feel a mi abs," Mystic told THE STAR, while noting that it makes her feel uncomfortable.
But she said many people assumed she was in a relationship with Busy Signal after last year's Digicel Rising Stars final show at Mas Camp, where they performed together.
"From last year, dem a seh mi and him must inna something 'cause di way how him a smile wid mi," she said, while noting that people have asked if she is in a relationship with Vegas, who she has worked with as well.

Mystic says she hopes her fans and friends do not follow the rumours. She also said something of this nature has the potential to impact negatively on her career because she is a young dancer. But she intends to make her talent speak for itself.
And, while having children is not a far-fetched idea, she said the time is not now.
"I'm a kid myself. So I don't think it's in the near future. To have a child now wouldn't be wise or responsible," Mystic said, while noting that she must be financially stable to have a child.
Mystic, however, said: "despite all da rumours, I'm still gonna be a living legend."
Recently, she was also featured in videos like Vegas' Gallis/Sassa Step and French artiste Charley B's The Way You Wine. In addition, Mystic said she auditioned for a role in a movie abroad and she is working on her electronic press kit.
Meanwhile, Mystic says she is also looking for a booking agent or a manager. She said she is not signed to Ray Alexander's Khool Booking Agency, as was previously thought.

 Finally! Hardcore Alliance fans have been salivating over Bounty Killers just-released Chatta Box single which delivers a stunning broadside on his former protégé, Vybz Kartel. The intro is delivered with classical Bounty Killer pottymouth panache and the brilliant vulgarity of the tirade makes it an instant rewind moment. Alien Looking, blo*o*dclaat deform hunch back, boy handicap, bwoy nyam down from the ramping shop to di candy shop, bleach out face blo*o*dclaat man faggiesha palmer, wey you feel like alliance blo*o*dclaat gun dem a drama, hey mek me tell oonu dis b****ohole dog s&%t cause you mout is a toilet, say weh u feel fi say man style it, me mek you career nuh tink I won't spoil it. Dis bwoy a p*u**yy thats why me neva wild it However, the best portion of the song is the intro where Bounty can lift his skirts and be his intimidating best. However, the rest of the song is a predictable rehash of insults and disses that have the creative spontaniety of a bowel movement. Even the first line of the first verse is a disappointment: 'stop chew pon mi name like sweetie/oonu fi tell him fi stop drink Shorty pee pee'. Using a repetitive syllabic rhyming style, he trots out tired two-dollar rhymes as he calls Kartel a silent bowcat , and a paedophile. He takes a shot at recent Kartel hits such as Virginity and Teen Pregnancy by drawing attention to what he calls The Teachas tendencies, but he is hopelessly predictable in his witticisms such as stop mix up gal p*u**yy wid food etcetera. And in his attempt to attack Kartel, he stumbles and asks one of the dumbest questions ever invented when he deejays: which bad man coulda waan gal weh freaky?. Answer: how about all of them? He attempts to critique Kartels past songs with a line which begins you say gal salt like banana chips/ it prove say yu muss taste Tamara clit/Thats why Alliance haffi empty the banana clip/every bowcat get hang by them tongue from a cliff. He also makes references to old Kartel songs with phrases like p*u**yy pathologist and disparages some of Kartels unusual comparisons such as the one which suggest that a gal p*u**yy good like high grade herb. Perhaps one of the most important things about the song is that Bounty Killer never denies any of Kartels personal allegations/statements that Bounty Killer 'ah the biggest bowcat inna the country'. Now comes the interesting part. Waiting for the Teachas clinical response dissecting the Killers oral habits and exposing more inside Alliance secrets. The dancehall world is collectively holding its breath. And somewhere, the organizers of Stings are rubbing their hands in glee. |

What you Americans need to remember is that the USA is not the world. The fact is that Bolt's influence is based not only on his exploits on the field. He has energised young persons right acroos the world, yes in much the same way that Obama did at the height of his popularity. Unfortunately for Mr. Obama, as a politcian/policy maker, he is going to be judged on the policies and actions that he has taken while in office.
His achievements are marvelous but on the whole globe how is he influencing lives of a 10 year kid in zimbabwe who has nothing on their tables for breakfast or even those within a radius of 100km around the boy?
