Prominent Dancehall producer, Ainsley Morris, more popularly known as Notnice will no longer represent Corey Todds stable following a mutual agreement to sever business ties.
Notniceofficially announced his departure from the Portmore Empire in June after highly publicized fallout with the groups leader, Vybz Kartel. Shortly following his departure, Notnice joined forces with Corey Todd, a successful American businessman and former long-time business partner of Kartel. Both Todd and Notnice began working together on several projects; producing for former Empire artistes, Jahvinci and Dosa Medicine as well as collaborating on the highly-acclaimed Takeover Riddim which featured artistes like Beenie Man, Aidonia, Gyptian and Spice amongst others.
However, Notnice recently announced that he and Todd would no longer work together and theyve chosen to focus on their own projects. Notnice will continue to make producing music his primary focus while Corey Todd works towards improving his Yaad brand which included Yaad Swag rum and Yaad Stout.
Notnice explained in a radio interview that his affiliation with Todd was for the sole purpose of helping him promote and produce a few music-related projects.

Regarding future collaborations, Notnice stated, Mek mi think bout it man.
Additionally, the ex-Empire producer intimated that he was proud of Popcaans highly-regarded performance at STING 2011; even videotaping the Ravin singers set as he expressed joy for the young deejays rise to prominence.

In the words of the immortal Pele himself, Messi still has a ways to go before being crowned best footballer there ever was and I couldn't agree more. I was not fortunate to see Edson Arantes do Nascimento play live but I have seen countless film. He's dead right about Messi being on par with him technically but that's where the comparison ends. Pele was by far a better player with results at all levels to prove. The immortal one was also better and more natural athlete...how's that Messi fans?

Two bills before Congress, known as the Protect IP Act (PIPA) in the Senate and the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) in the House, would censor the Web and impose harmful regulations on American business. Millions of Internet users and entrepreneurs already oppose SOPA and PIPA.
The Senate will begin voting on January 24th. Please let them know how you feel. Sign this petition urging Congress to vote NO on PIPA and SOPA before it is too late.

This action is among the largest criminal copyright cases ever brought by the United States and directly targets the misuse of a public content storage and distribution site to commit and facilitate intellectual property crime.
The individuals and two corporationsMegaupload Limited and Vestor Limitedwere indicted by a grand jury in the Eastern District of Virginia on Jan. 5, 2012, and charged with engaging in a racketeering conspiracy, conspiring to commit copyright infringement, conspiring to commit money laundering, and two substantive counts of criminal copyright infringement. The individuals each face a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison on the charge of conspiracy to commit racketeering, five years in prison on the charge of conspiracy to commit copyright infringement, 20 years in prison on the charge of conspiracy to commit money laundering, and five years in prison on each of the substantive charges of criminal copyright infringement.
The indictment alleges that the criminal enterprise is led by Kim Dotcom, aka Kim Schmitz, and Kim Tim Jim Vestor, 37, a resident of both Hong Kong and New Zealand. Dotcom founded Megaupload Limited and is the director and sole shareholder of Vestor Limited, which has been used to hold his ownership interests in the Mega-affiliated sites.
In addition, the following alleged members of the Mega conspiracy were charged in the indictment:
Dotcom, Batato, Ortmann, and van der Kolk were arrested today in Auckland, New Zealand, by New Zealand authorities, who executed provisional arrest warrants requested by the United States. Bencko, Echternach, and Nomm remain at large. Today, law enforcement also executed more than 20 search warrants in the United States and eight countries, seized approximately $50 million in assets, and targeted sites where Megaupload has servers in Ashburn, Va., Washington, D.C., the Netherlands, and Canada. In addition, the U.S. District Court in Alexandria, Va., ordered the seizure of 18 domain names associated with the alleged Mega conspiracy.
According to the indictment, for more than five years the conspiracy has operated websites that unlawfully reproduce and distribute infringing copies of copyrighted works, including moviesoften before their theatrical releasemusic, television programs, electronic books, and business and entertainment software on a massive scale. The conspirators content hosting site, Megaupload.com, is advertised as having more than one billion visits to the site, more than 150 million registered users, 50 million daily visitors, and accounting for four percent of the total traffic on the Internet. The estimated harm caused by the conspiracys criminal conduct to copyright holders is well in excess of $500 million. The conspirators allegedly earned more than $175 million in illegal profits through advertising revenue and selling premium memberships.
The indictment states that the conspirators conducted their illegal operation using a business model expressly designed to promote uploading of the most popular copyrighted works for many millions of users to download. The indictment alleges that the site was structured to discourage the vast majority of its users from using Megaupload for long-term or personal storage by automatically deleting content that was not regularly downloaded. The conspirators further allegedly offered a rewards program that would provide users with financial incentives to upload popular content and drive web traffic to the site, often through user-generated websites known as linking sites. The conspirators allegedly paid users whom they specifically knew uploaded infringing content and publicized their links to users throughout the world.
In addition, by actively supporting the use of third-party linking sites to publicize infringing content, the conspirators did not need to publicize such content on the Megaupload site. Instead, the indictment alleges that the conspirators manipulated the perception of content available on their servers by not providing a public search function on the Megaupload site and by not including popular infringing content on the publicly available lists of top content downloaded by its users.
As alleged in the indictment, the conspirators failed to terminate accounts of users with known copyright infringement, selectively complied with their obligations to remove copyrighted materials from their servers and deliberately misrepresented to copyright holders that they had removed infringing content. For example, when notified by a rights holder that a file contained infringing content, the indictment alleges that the conspirators would disable only a single link to the file, deliberately and deceptively leaving the infringing content in place to make it seamlessly available to millions of users to access through any one of the many duplicate links available for that file.
The indictment charges the defendants with conspiring to launder money by paying users through the sites uploader reward program and paying companies to host the infringing content.
The case is being prosecuted by the U.S. Attorneys Office for the Eastern District of Virginia and the Computer Crime & Intellectual Property Section in the Justice Departments Criminal Division. The Criminal Divisions Office of International Affairs, Organized Crime and Gang Section, and Asset Forfeiture and Money Laundering Section also assisted with this case.
The investigation was initiated and led by the FBI at the National Intellectual Property Rights Coordination Center (IPR Center), with assistance from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcements Homeland Security Investigations. Substantial and critical assistance was provided by the New Zealand Police, the Organised and Financial Crime Agency of New Zealand (OFCANZ), the Crown Law Office of New Zealand, and the Office of the Solicitor General for New Zealand; Hong Kong Customs and the Hong Kong Department of Justice; the Netherlands Police Agency and the Public Prosecutors Office for Serious Fraud and Environmental Crime in Rotterdam; Londons Metropolitan Police Service; Germanys Bundeskriminalamt and the German Public Prosecutors; and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police-Greater Toronto Area (GTA) Federal Enforcement Section and the Integrated Technological Crime Unit and the Canadian Department of Justices International Assistance Group. Authorities in the United Kingdom, Australia, and the Philippines also provided assistance.
This case is part of efforts being undertaken by the Department of Justice Task Force on Intellectual Property (IP Task Force) to stop the theft of intellectual property. Attorney General Eric Holder created the IP Task Force to combat the growing number of domestic and international intellectual property crimes, protect the health and safety of American consumers, and safeguard the nations economic security against those who seek to profit illegally from American creativity, innovation, and hard work. The IP Task Force seeks to strengthen intellectual property rights protection through heightened criminal and civil enforcement, greater coordination among federal, state, and local law enforcement partners, and increased focus on international enforcement efforts, including reinforcing relationships with key foreign partners and U.S. industry leaders. Brace yourself, Jamaica! Yet another zany foreigner is set to invade our shores when the bombastic entertainment personality and disc jock Patti Zagranis comes to Jamaica next week. She retired from her ho hum nine-to-five at a US phone company a job she held for 27 years for the white sand beaches, jerk chicken and island living of Jamaica.
Im ready to come to Jamaica for music full time! the perky reggae disc jockey said. She has been moonlighting as a selectress and reggae disc jock for almost 21 years now.
Over the last few years, Zagranis has clawed out a reputation as an avid reggae music lover with a vast catalogue of classic reggae hits. A bombastic, larger-than-life personality, she is best known for her ultra successful urban music radio show on a station called Caribbean Fyah 96.5FM in Boston, MA. Her show, dubbed Nice Up U Medi airs in the 12 noon to 2 p.m. time slot on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
I was the mix-tape girl in high school, making mix cassettes for all my friends, and always loved reggae Bob, of course, Jimmy Cliff, Dennis Brown, Super Cat, Shabba I even have Beenie Mans first album on vinyl, she boasted.
Ms. Zagranis got involved in playing music in 1991 after a Jamaican friend saw her record collection, was suitably impressed and actually got her to play at a club in Lawrence, Massachussetts, a small town about 30 miles north of Boston.
My friend brought me down to the club and let me DJ and that was it, I absolutely loved it, so I Djd around Lawrence and went to Jamaica for the first time that year, then locked my hair by 1992 realizing that I was always Rastafari , and started looking for places to play, she said.
At first, she found the experience challenging because the club owners in Bostonrefused to give her a chance to play, effectively shutting her out for several years. However, she persisted in the pursuit of her dream.
I used to drive to Brooklyn and buy records at Ethiopian Taste Records on Nostrand inBrooklyn, and then go to the Biltmore to see the big sounds like Earth Ruler, Downbeat, Stone Love. At that time, I would go to Jamaica at least 2-3 times a year and would bring my boom box and cassette tapes and just record hours of IRIE FM on cassette, commercials and all, so I could go home and put them in my cassette player in the car and pretend I was still in Jamaica, besides listening to the awesome music!!!!
Eventually, she performed a neat bit of gymnastics and landed on FM radio. She began to play gigs at stations such as Dive FM in Boston, Reggae Vybz Radio in Mount VernonNY, and also landed a prime time slot on Big City 101.3FM in Boston with Ghetto Hype of King Midas Sound on the Old Time Sittin Show.
Ill still be broadcasting from Jamaica but it will also be heard up in Boston still over the Internet at www.caribbeanfyah.com when I come to JA, she said.
She also dabbles in artiste management where she has reaped some amount of success with P Zed, the brother of Little Hero. She has been managing him since 2008.
I really love artist management, but its hard but so rewarding when you are able to help a talented artist. So Im coming to Jamaica to really do a push on PZed, try to steer him more towards his acoustic performances because hes such an incredible musician and when hes behind his guitar and singing, hes at his best, she said.
She is currently promoting artistes such as Hezron, X-ALE, Junior X, Cutty Corn, Little Hero, Anthony Cruz, Tony Curtis, Singing Melody, Zamunda, Galawasp, Denno, Angele Smith, Ghandi, Suga Roy & Conrad Crystal. She can be contacted at luvbugmovement@gmail.com.
Rodney Price aka Bounty Killer made an annoucement late this afternoon via twitter which his protege BridgeZ supported via her twitter page that she will be leaving the Alliance Next Generation Camp (A.N.G). The broadcast message stated that she will be parting ways with Bounty Killers new camp A.N.G which holds some of the best upcoming, and freshly established talents in the Industry. Not to fret, though rumors are vastly spreading across social networks and media outlets on the internet that Bridgez has left the the Star Making Camp, Bridgez has not left the Alliance completely.
Bridgez states My team and I made a mutual business decision that I was being branded too much; this is just the beginning of one of the steps Ill be taking in my career this year. I am still A.F.L Alliance First Lady but Ive always been more about making an impact than running with titles and Alliance is known for showcasing males more than females so my team and I are focused on making the name Bridgez a household name without having too many different brands following.
She ensures to both her fans, and Alliance supporters that their is no bad vibes between the Alliance and herself.
The First Lady and Rodney Bounty Killer Price came to a mutual decision today to seperate her name from A.N.G based on many reasonings with her team on a whole. Bridgez and the rest of her team came to the conclusion and think that this is just one of the best decisions Bridgez has made in taking her career to the next level.
Further more at 6pm EST Bounty Killer himself sent out a broadcast to his Blackberry contacts, and sent a twitter message confirming the mutual agreement between the two.
The further announcement is that Lady Alliance aka BridgeZ is still apart of the Alliance, instead of ANG. Reason being she is more of a individual/unique artiste to me than the other A.N.G artistes who can easily group and blend in like a medley thing. She needs her own platform to present herself, I think we both decided on that. So no confusion or negatives the camp A.F.L/A.N.G
The news gets from bad to worse for embattled Dancehall superstar, Adidja Vybz Kartel Palmer, who must now contemplate the loss of several highly-prized valuables as he remains incarcerated on murder charges.
According to media reports, law enforcement officials seized many of Kartels assets in light of his September 2011 arrest and subsequent murder charges in October. The seizures took place shortly after the arrest and following the approval of the newly passed Proceeds of Crime Act which allows police and other law enforcement personnel to confiscate someones property if there are discrepancies in the acquisition of said property by citizens. Once that transpires, the person whose assets are seized will have to show evidence that they acquired those valuables legally.
Among the items taken during the recent seizure include his highly-touted 2010 Mercedes Benz S-Class which is worth over JA$20 million, a laptop containing music-related projects and documentation regarding properties that he owns. Each of these valuables are now stored at the Police Commissioners Office in St. Andrew.
Law enforcement officials claim that this operation is part of a wider investigation against Vybz Kartel, who already faces two murder charges and two obstruction of justice related charges stemmingfrom a pair of incidents which took place last summer.
This past month, a judge ordered Kartel to pay JA$15 million to a promoter in the Caribbean island of Turks and Caicos after the Portmore Empire leader missed his scheduled performance at a 2009 event there and did not respond appropriately to a lawsuit filed against him regarding show proceeds.
A video clip of female Jamaican radio host 2Lips going off on a caller has been making waves on the internet! The clip which was uploaded to Youtube on Jan 16th has gained in excess of 33,000 views and prompted hot debate especially in the Caribbean community! 2Lips has a heated exchange with the female caller after she calls into the show asking for relationship advice. The radio host takes offence to the proper proper nature of the caller and proceeds to supposedly lay down the law in keeping a man in the 7 minute video.
Vybz Kartel allegedly participated in the beating death of his friend Clive Lizard Williams, who, according to the prosecution, was murdered over the disappearance of two guns.
The allegation was made in the Home Circuit Court last week where Calvin Hay, one of the men charged along with the entertainer, was offered bail in the sum of $1million.
According to the prosecution, Williams was a part of a gang in Waterford, St Catherine that was headed by Kartel.
In August, the prosecution told the court, Williams and another man were entrusted with the care of two guns by Kartel. But when in mid-August the guns were discovered missing, the men were summoned to meet Kartel at his Havendale, St Andrew home to give an account of the guns. Kartel, according to the prosecution, was angry about the disappearance of the weapons.
On August 16, Williams and the other man who is now the prosecutions main witness were picked up in a taxi, reportedly by entertainer Shawn Shawn Storm Campbell and taken to the Havendale home where Kartel and other men were waiting on him.
While en route to the house, the court was told, Williams started sending text messages to a person, expressing fear that he was going to be killed and urging the receiver of the messages to call the police.
At the home, Williams and the other man were taken into a room where Kartel, Andre St John, and Kahira Jones were waiting. According to the prosecutions case, Williams was beaten to death by the men who were armed with blocks and pickaxe sticks.
After witnessing what went down, the other man who was brought to the premises, dashed from the house in an attempt to save his own life. Kartel, the prosecutor said, called out to him, saying that it was Williams whom they wanted.
During the melee, Kartel was bitten by his own dog and had to seek medical treatment. The prosecution said it was in possession of the hospital bill and record of the treatment.
Charged along with Kartel, Hay, Campbell, Jones and St John is Shane Williams.
The prosecution said, too, that it has voice recordings of Kartel and a person it believes to be Hay planning Williams murder. However, the prosecution did not oppose bail for Hay, who is represented by Chris Tavares-Finson, because it has not confirmed that the voice on the recording was Hays. The recording is being analysed.
The accused men will again appear in court on February 17. Last Wednesday two men who have been charged along with Kartel for the murder of labourer Barrington Bossie Bryan last year were denied bail in the Gun Court Division of the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate (RM) Court.
The men, Nigel Thompson and Lenburgh McDonald, along with Kartel, will next appear in court on February 3 when a preliminary enquiry into Bryans murder is scheduled to begin.
Bryan was shot dead along a street in Gregory Park, St Catherine in July. Also Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, and fellow Portmore Empire member Vanessa Gaza Slim Saddler are to appear in the RM court on February 1 on charges of conspiracy and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
The charges stem from allegations that Vybz Kartel sent a text to Saddler, leading to her reporting to the police that she had been robbed by Clive Lizard Williams, who had in fact been murdered before the reported robbery occurred. The prosecution is contending that the report was made in order to give the impression that Williams was not dead.
On a separate matter, Kartel is to return to the Resident Magistrates Court on February 13 when he will be tried on a ganja possession charge.
Several law enforcement officials face internal charges regarding the ongoing legal cases against prominent Dancehall entertainer, Adidja Palmer aka Vybz Kartel and alleged matters which have taken place during the deejays incarceration.
According to media reports, nine police personnel, as well as a high-profile inmate at the Gun Court Remand Centre in St. Andrew, were slapped with several internal charges on Monday after allegedly involving in corrupt acts. This following an in-depth investigation by the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF); recommending severe punishment for their alleged acts in the Vybz Kartel matter.
Each of the accused face sanctions in relation to allegations that they accepted money and other gifts in effort to afford Vybz Kartel several special privileges. Reportedly, police allowed a visitor of the popular deejay a visit within a restricted area of the lock-up while given the opportunity to talk on a cellular phone without permission. Additionally, video recordings and other forms of evidence were reportedly captured of these acts taking place.
As a result, the nine law enforcement officials face expulsion from the JCF for their actions as they will attend a disciplinary hearing in the near future to hear their fate. ACB head, Justin Felice intimated that the evidence will be reviewed by Commissioner of Police, Owen Ellington before sending all relevant findings to the courts for the aforementioned hearing.
However, none of the accused officers in the matter face criminal charges for their actions, according to Felice, because punishment for such an offence differs when taking place in a police lock-up compared to a correctional facility. Nevertheless, should the matter be taken before the court of enquiry and the members are found guilty, the police personnel could be dismissed from the force.
Vybz Kartel faces two murder charges, two obstruction of justice related charges, amongst others in relation to the shooting deaths of Barrington Bossie Burton in St. Catherine and Clive Lizard Williams in Havendale, St. Andrew. The Portmore Empire leader also faces a ganja possession charge stemming from his initial arrest at a New Kingston hotel last September.
Reggae superstar Diana King is back in the island where she will be shooting three videos to promote singles from her new album. There are rumours that she may well be performing a song with Celine Dion at this years Jazz and Blues festival this month.

people see me as an hardcore artist and don't expect to hear me on a one drop riddim or even doing a sing-jay style, but i'm ready! I'm gonna prove them wrong...This
is not to say i wont be doing any more hardcore lyrics... I am the machine fyara so everybody know that already, but we are currently doing some Real Music so all

With just about every MMG-related song featuring the above voice, I think its safe to say that you all have heard it atleast once.[MMMMAYBACH MUSIC] But up until now its been a mystery as to who it actually belonged to. And the lucky lady is Australian supermodel Jessica Gomes.
Dancehall artistes Bounty Killer and Mavado have started the new year on a positive note by settling their differences.
The artistes, who have avoided each other for the last few months in 2011, are alleged to have made amends at a recent Uptown Mondays party.
Bounty Killer and Mavado had been in a rift since late July, stemming from a single that Gullyside artiste Chase Cross released called Mash Up Everything, in which he fired lyrical shots at Bounty Killer.
Apparently, the song was not enough to 'mash up' anything, as Mavado and Bounty Killer were seen taking pictures and embracing each other at the popular dancehall event.
According to Alliance Next Generation manager Cross Cris, it is a good look for the New Year.
"We thank God that this has happened, because they are two artistes that have respected each other over the years. It's a good look for 2012 to see the two dancehall 'Gods' link back together, Gulliance lives on," he said.
According to Cross Cris, all pictures depicting Bounty Killer and Mavado together at the event are real.
"The link up was made at Hot Mondays and the pictures are real, even Mavado and Bounty Killer had the pictures on their BlackBerrys," he said.
Both Mavado and Bounty Killer were unavailable for comment on the recent unification.
However, Bounty Killer spoke via twitter.com saying that Gulliance lives on, despite forces motivating negativity.
"Who look stupid now? GrunGaad and GullyGaad link up at Uptown Mondays... That is why no AFL/ANG artiste couldn't go do any songs dissing Vado despite Waste Crosses (Chase Cross) violate the thing. There are bad apples among our bunches, sometimes your own will go against you, just leave it to God and time, simple. Gulliance lives on, big up," he tweeted.
Cross Cris also revealed that both artistes would make a public statement on their renewed friendship, however, it is in their interest to do so in their own time.
"They will speak to the media but it has to be on their own timing, because it's an issue that concerns both of them, so we have to just leave it to them," he said.
Since the friction, Mavado has gone on to sign a record deal with international record label We The Best Records, and Bounty Killer has concluded the year with a show-closing performance at Sting.
Fans of the artistes also took to Cross Cris' facebook page to voice their comments on the move by the artistes.
And of the 137 comments, the majority of the fans were applauding the artistes for their unity.
If you guessed that Baby Carter would grow up to be a star because of her ubiquitous, famous parents, Jay-Z and Beyonce, you were probably right. If you anticipated her first song not being released until she was in her teens, a la Willow Smith, you were dead wrong: Try within days of her birth.
Blue Ivy Carter, who was brought into the world Saturday (Jan. 7), is now the youngest person ever credited with gracing a Billboard chart, asJay-Zs newly-recorded studio cut Glory officially billed as featuring B.I.C., an abbreviation of Blue Ivy Carter begins on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs at No. 74. (For historical purposes, this weeks Billboard charts are dated Jan. 21).
People Keep Mixing Up #Badmind & #Grudge, Two Different Thing, Badmind Is Actually A Good Thing Because If You Ave Something And I Badmind You For It Thats Nothin Bcoz That Motivates Me To Get One, But When I Grudge You Now Thats When I Start To Envy You 4 Your Thing Now Thats The Bad Thing And People Dnt Understand And Sayin Its Badmind -NO ITS GRUDGE...So You All Need To Tek A Pree Into Dat, Nothin Nuh Wrng With #Badmind...

Controversial dancehall artist Vybz Kartel is to return to court on February 1, after he was remanded in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court. His compatriot Gaza Slim was given bail in the Home Circuit Court and must return to court on the same date.
The two are before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrates Court, on the charges of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
It is alleged that Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer and Vanessa Saddler, more popularly known as Gaza Slim, were a part of a plot to undermine a police investigation into the murder of Clive 'Lizard' Williams.
Kartel is accused of killing Williams.
Saddler had filed a report with the police, claiming that Williams assaulted her during a robbery in Havendale, St. Andrew.
She claimed that the incident occurred on October 29, five days after Kartel was charged with Williams murder.
It is alleged that Saddler and others made up the story to help Kartel with his defence.
Its official, Rihanna can now add top-selling digital artist of all-time to her musical resume. Neilsen Soundscan has announced that the pop star has sold $47.5 million downloads since exploding on the scene in 2005 making her the queen of the digital music world.
Gabriel and Bounty Killers restyled version of My Boy Lollipop is being herald by European journalists and DJs as one of the continents favorites since the single arrived on the scene in November of 2011.
The original sung by Millie Smalls in 1964 was a massive hit to say the least. The track reached #2 on both the UK Singles Chart and the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and even topped music charts as far as Australia.
My Boy Lollipop was the 1st major overseas hit for Island Records and introduced the world to the bluebeat sound which paved the way for ska and what would later develop into the reggae.
The track sold over 600,000 copies in the UK as Europe embraced a new distinct Jamaican sound.
Almost 50 years later Gabriel and Bounty Killer are moving towards the same caliber of success with their cover of the 60s classic that introduced reggae to the world.
This time however the lyrical input of the Bounty Killer seems to be stirring up the most controversy among fans who are asking just how the warlord could possibly sing a song using the word lolipop.
King of the dancehall Beenie Man even publicly ridiculed Killa for using the word during their recent clash in Negril on December 23, 2011.
Bounty however cautions that his words should not be taken out of context, insisting that he made the decision to collaborate on this single to endorse its musical legacy and highlight the contemporary fusion of a 60s mega hit.
Despite criticism however Lollipop has undoubtedly become a whirlwind sensation reviving reggae history while simultaneously inciting debate.
Gabriels high pitched voice echoes that of Smalls in the original while Killas presence on the track opens up the tune and its history to a whole new generation.
Gabriel and Bounty Killer anticipate several overseas dates in 2012 as a result of the controversy and the singles success.
Lollipop as well as Gabriels latest single Dancefloor on the Overproof riddim are now among the most heavily rotated tracks on playlists in Europe since their release late last year.
Former Detroit Cocaine Lord "Big Meech" (who will be incarcerated until December 16, 2031) is speaking out about the upcoming "Black Mafia Family Wives" reality show and he is not happy! Find out what message he sent the ladies.....from behind bars.
We all know that sometimes when a brother is on lockdown, he sends a message through his momma. And Big Meech is no different. When the former drug boss got word that there was going to be a reality show based on the women of men who ran his Black Mafia Family drug organization....he had a few choice words.
Lady Flen aka RealBigMeechMom (Lucille Flenory) relayed the message from her son that none of the women on that show are the first ladies of anything! She says they are fame hungry and trying to use the crime family to get their 15 minutes of fame.
Here are the tweets:
That last line "If you have a problem with that see Meech" sounds like a threat. They may want to think about missing the next taping...
Thierry Henry has joined Arsenal on a two-month loan from New York Red Bulls.
The former Arsenal captain, 34, has been training with the club during the Major League Soccer off-season.
The forward will play for the Gunners during January and February, while fellow striker Gervinho is absent at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Henry, who is eligible to play in Monday's FA Cup match at home to Leeds, said: "When it comes to Arsenal my heart will always do the talking."
The striker, who had to wait a week to secure the temporary switch while Arsenal finalised insurance arrangements with New York Red Bulls, was famous for wearing the number 14 shirt, which Theo Walcott currently uses. Henry will now be Arsenal's number 12.
Henry added: "I always said I was never going to come back and play in Europe again but, when the team you love and support asks you back, it's kind of hard to say 'no'.
"I am not coming here to be a hero or prove anything. I am just coming here to help. People have to understand that.
"I'll be on the bench most of the time - if I can make the bench, that is.
"Even if it is just five seconds, one second, or just talking in the dressing room, I will give my best whatever it is."
Manager Arsene Wenger added: "I am very happy. It was my desire and Thierry's desire.
"We will have Thierry for January and February, then he will go back to the United States.
"I am sure during these two months he will be a massive asset to the team in the dressing room and on the pitch.
"He can be relaxed, not under too much pressure and be a tremendous help to the team."
Henry will act as a reserve for Robin van Persie, who broke Henry's club record of number of goals in a calendar year in 2011 when he netted 35 times.
"Right now Robin is flying," Henry said. "I can be around and talk to him but he is doing what he does best - scoring goals.
"When the boss spoke to me about coming back, I wanted to make sure I didn't disturb the team that was in place. That was important to me."
The Frenchman will return to the United States to the New York Red Bulls for the new MLS season, which starts on 10 March.

Patrick Gaynor of Twin of Twins
Entertainer Patrick Gaynor of the Twin of Twins duo was fined $2000 or 10 days in the Spanish Town Petty Sessions Court yesterday.
Gaynor appeared in court after being charged by the St Catherine South police following an incident at Sting on December 26, 2011.
When he appeared before Lay Magistrates Alvin Beckford and Winnifred Harriot, he pleaded guilty.
Before he was convicted, he was warned to keep the peace.
The entertainer also apologized to the court for his action and explained that it was because of the nature of the event.
"I used those words because of the culture, I apologise for my action and will try to keep the peace," Gaynor said.
It was during the clash with Tony Matterhorn at Sting that the offence was committed.
The entertainer was brought before the court on a charge of indecent language.
After court, Gaynor took the police to task for their apparent lack of transparency.
"The question that I want to ask is why am I the only person charged, when a number of entertainers used indecent language," Gaynor said.

18 years after the tragic, racially motivated murder of Stephen Lawrence in Eltham South West London, justice has finally been served. The accused: Gary Dobson and David Norris were found guilty of stabbing Stephen to death at a bus stop in an unprovoked attack that has taken almost two decades to be resolved.
Forensic evidence played a huge part in the conviction of the two men, after a speck of *la*hd on Dobsons jacket, which could have only been from Mr. Lawrence linked them to the murder. Additionally a single hair belonging to the teenager helped place the two men, now in their 30s at the scene of the murder.
Stephens parents Doreen and Neville wept as the guilty verdict was announced earlier today, having fought for justice for their son tirelessly. In an interview with BBCs Panorama Doreen Lawrence said, I dont forgive the boys who killed Stephen. They dont think they have done anything wrong. In a statement issued by his lawyer following the verdict Neville Lawrence asserted he would not rest until all those who were involved in his sons murder were brought to justice.
The killers are sentenced..Read more here

Kip Rich was the last man standing in the Sting war between him and Merciless on Tuesday morning. It appeared as if Merciless underestimated Kip Rich's ability as a clash artiste and therefore Leonard had no strong comeback when Kippo unleashed his venom. As to the anticipated Beenie/Bounty clash, it was obviously put on hold. Bounty was in his killa suit ready for war and Beenie Man was supposed to be in the venue, but if he was, then him hide it out. Bounty Killer, still managed to make an impact, and closed the show. The general feeling however, is that Sting has lost its Sting.
